LED Lighting - A Bright Idea
My wife and I have lived in this neighborhood for almost twenty years. We were a young couple when we first moved in, our children grew up in this house and our neighbors were like a family.
It has always been a safe area with no cases of burglaries or even disturbances. However, recently, all that changed when our good friend and neighbor, Frances, was attacked while she was turning off the garbage cans one night.
Her husband had gone to a golf retreat with her friends when Frances was hit in the head and stripped of some cursed possessions: none of them was very valuable to her.
Suffice it to say that the incident has shaken the neighborhood and that the culprits have yet to be apprehended.
That's when we set up a neighborhood watch, we decided we had to take more precautions. For some of us, it meant locking the doors at night. For others, like me, it meant getting psychics.
We were recommended to install LED lighting around the perimeter of our house. We soon discovered that there was a whole range of LED lamps to choose from. Did we want the 50,000-hour ULTRA-luminous LED Spotlight or ULTRA-luminous LED bulbs? What a bite! We also knew that we had to get energy-efficient light bulbs so as not to waste energy.
There were so many models, brands, watts, shapes and sizes to choose the shape that we spent over an hour chatting to learn more about all the varieties on offer. Deciding that we were never going to learn all the ins and outs of LED lights, we stayed simple. We bought an LED Spotlight for our back garden as well as an LED Spot Light, which we installed near our front door. This ensured that with the alarm system if someone was seen crawling around our house, they would not be able to do so without being well lit.

We had never thought of LED lights or even just lights as a precautionary measure to prevent intruders from entering our property. We had never needed it before. Now we know that it is better to be safe than sorry when it comes to personal safety.
